With our popular Paris highlights trip, check off the top items on your “must-see” list, such as the Eiffel Tower, Pont Neuf, and the Seine River.
First, you’ll go to the Eiffel Tower, where you’ll take the elevator to the top for a bird’s-eye view of Paris and discover everything about Gustave Eiffel, the tower’s inventor. On the second level, you’ll wander around the city’s perimeter while your guide points out the city’s many attractions.
After that, take a 30-minute boat ride to Île de la Cité, the medieval heart of Paris and home to the Notre Dame cathedral. Later, we’ll take a stroll down the Seine’s banks, appreciating the “bouquinistes,” or booksellers, a 16th-century tradition.
As we go by the Palace of Justice, Conciergerie, and Sainte-Chapelle, we will see and learn about them. Cross the Pont Neuf, Paris’s oldest bridge. Finally, reach the Louvre Pyramid, which stands at the foot of Paris’ Axe Historique (Historic Axis). Continue on to the neighboring Tuileries Garden, Champs-Élysées, or museum if you choose. Your guide will gladly give insider recommendations on what to do next.
Congratulations! In six hours, you’ve accomplished more than most individuals do in three days.
